I'm not for or against anyone. The poster asked if he got wrong advice and I told him it's a lot worse than wrong advice. He was current on $30K worth of cc debt and stopped paying because he had no money left over. Guess what? Millions and millions of people do that every day. They budget, they quit charging, and live below their means. They don't quit paying their bills. He asked if he should settle. Since one of the creditors is a real tiger, I suggested that may be a good idea.
Your advice to the poster is????????
