in order to be listed as AR the company MUST be one of your creditors.If they are not they must be listed as PRM-promotional or DTC(?)-for companies you gave permission to. While bogus listings under AR will not hurt your credit score (nor are they shown to potential creditors who pull your file)they are an invasion of privacy, especially if you have opted out of the CRA's use of direct marketing. If you are not a customer of US Bank (by the way, if you have a student loan check first to see if they are the lender) write them and ask them their reason for calling themselves your creditor.
