The "financial agencies" are all credit-card issuers - NO COLLECTION AGENCIES are involved.

As regards your last paragraph (If your boyfriend defaults...) - we are in a situation where we either continue paying the minimum on all the accounts each month and end up in a homeless shelter living on food stamps - or make whatever adjustments we can until the situation improves. WE HAVE NO OTHER CHOICES - PERIOD!! No parents to live with, our friends are in the same situation we are. It is NOT PRETTY out here right now.
