Take a look at your Experian report, if Providian is the only one reporting, and no ca, you may be part of the class action against Providian.

Send a dispute into the CRA's disputing the dates and amounts of the charge off, and especially the interest that was charged.

Because of Tx usury laws and the class action, it likely can not be verified and will be removed.
