well id never tell anybody what they should do all i can say what I WOULD DO if i were in your position .. 1st advise to myself would be ALWAYS ALWAYS pay your bills if you can but if its out of control where you cant than guess ya gotta stop becouse 1st & foremost is food on the table & your health becouse w/o either your shot .. the car that someone co signed for YOU MUST continue to pay or else the creditors will come after them & thats not fair so that you must either continue to pay or sell .. your truck if you dont pay they'll repo it in like 2 - 3 months than you have no truck & a repo on your report so gotta either sell or keep up the payments on it .. all the "unsecured" cards if you have NO assets like a home or banks accounts & such if you cannot keep up & guess you cant then "I WOULD STOP" PAYING on them & go to charge off & last but not least if you live in a NO garnishment state like florida or texas you'd be ok but other wise they MAY garnish up to 25 % of your paycheck till who knows how long .. just my opinion but if this were me id do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to find a way to get outta debt like maybe a second job with all that money going to pay off the bills but if youve exhausted every possible way to get outta debt than either do what id do or file bankruptsy but having creditors hound you for maybe 7 years is no fun so im just being honest but like i say do everything in your power to not go through this before you must ...... good luck , kel ..
