missy sorry about your problems but bankruptcy IS NOT the answer for only one 6000. credit card debt ... read my post below to JC becouse he too is in n carolina ... living in nc is a good state to live in for your situation becouse the SOL for them legally trying to collect on the debt is only 3 years than its over but it'll still remain on your credit file for 7 yrs .. good luck kel
