My first letter came from Northland Group saying that Sherman Acquisition LP has purchased the account and had placed it with them for collection.

The response to my validation, from Northland, said they were sending it back to "our client" - Sherman Financial. Sorry - I didn't give you enough info on my first post.

So what does it mean?? Why would they send it back to a another collection agency for validation???
