It is NOT a good idea to try to do this sort of thing by phone.
Have you sent a verification/dispute to Chase IN WRITING?
How old is this account? Was it assigned/sold to a collection agency?
How is it being reported? With a charge-off date? Have you requested IN WRITING from Experian documentation as to HOW they "verified" the account, along with name address & Tel. # of the verification source?
