I live in the state on MN. The amount borrowed was $20,000. The grandparents sent me a letter
that said not to worry about paying till I got
the divorce debt cleared up, and to take care of the kids (I have three teenagers 16; 18 and 19)
In my opinion I had not defaulted on the loan,just
taking their advice for a bit to get on my feet.
They have never mentioned it to me, or sent any kind of note asking if things were looking up financially. I do not dispute the fact that I
owe them this money, just the time in which it will be paid back
