I hope you kept the letter saying they were not requesting payment.

You need to file an answer with the court if you have actually been served.Otherwise they will get a default judgment.

If you can get a lawyer -perhaps legal aid to help that would be best. If not,e-mail me and I will send you what information you need to do-it-yourself.

There is likely some personal family reason behind their taking this action at ths time.
