I believe even original creditors (OC's) are required to stop calling you at work if they are told that your employer does not permit personal calls and it jeopardizes your job. Even if that's not specifically the case, you need to write these jerks a letter, send it certified, rrr, and tell them that they are NOT to contact you or your husband at work. If you can get it, get your employer (and his) to write a letter that you can attach to yours that states their policy on personal calls and conducting personal business on company time. I believe even an OC has to comply with this.. it would be pretty stupid if their harrassement at work costs you your job, then how would you pay them ??

If your husband hasn't spoken with these people, then it sounds like they're trying to pull a fast one on you with this 'extension' thing. They may be calling you because they can't, for some reason, reach him or perhaps you're just easier to reach. Lets face it, these slimeballs figure they can intimidate a woman quicker than they can a man, so don't let them do it. If you can pay up the past due balance in a reasonably short period of time, then just pay it with your next regular payment. They can make repo noises, but that'll probably take more time to do than it willt take for you to get caught up.
