I am tired of hardship in keeping my payments current. For the last 4 years, my balances had been steady ie. in 40 - 45K range. For fear of losing good credit, I have been able to manage just the minimum payment until recently. I decided to settle with some creditors and was forgiven 5K in total. I still have over 30K in debt. If I miss payments, become 30-60-90 days late at this stage on my remaining accts, will that make my credit any worse than it already is, with "settled" and "settled for less than the balance" marks already in credit report due to the settlements. I do not have any lates so far. Please help me. I don't have any assets and I am in Iowa. Thanks.
