Moving Dates...and what to do

I met with some unfortunate circumstance in 96-97 and basically couldn't pay my bills. Attempt to renegotiate payments failed. So I know all of my accounts defaulted and were charged off by the summer of 97.

When I look at my TransUnion report, most of them show that 97 charge off date. But my other two reports, show moving dates of last activity. Many of them as last as 12/99 and 2/2000. Just recently, many of those dates were moved again on my Experian and they report late 120 days from 8/2002.

I'm in GA and know my SOL is 4 years. However one of the creditors is suing now, and I've obtained an attorney.

How does one go about getting these accounts and "fall off dates" to reflect the 97 date?

Thanks
Brett
