What you're seeing is the way they report these when they want to ding your report as hard as possible. Let me guess, Sears? Discover? They are really mean.

There is no logical explanation for what they are doing. When the scoring software reads your report, it reads the most recent date. They are making sure your score is as low as possible.

Pick two dates and dispute them the way I said and see if they come off.
