You need to file a notice of appearance and an answer .

You probably received papers when you were served.

You neither deny or affirm anything, just say you have no knowledge of the accuracy of the account.

You MUST in your answer present your affirmative defense of SOL.
You state the suit is time-barred because the dates given in the claim indicate that the alleged debt defaulted more than 6 & 1/2 years ago.

If you can find a lawyer to help you it will be easier.
