The lawyer has already sent me the 30 day validation letter- and I appreciate everyone telling me they are trying to scare me but the bottom line is:
I do owe the money- I can pay it- I don't want to! but I don't want to get sued and owe legal fees in addition to the $500.
I never thought a lawyer would sue for this amount but I could be dead wrong and they will sue.
WHEN do you negotiate with this CA lawyer?? or should I just take a chance and wait til I get a summons? THEN NEGOTIATE?? ANY ADVICE??
