Don't feel bad... that smae thing just happened to me. I don't know if I can do anything being that I signed this form agreeing to pay to avoid judgement. I was so terrified of garnishment I paniced and didn't read what I signed. One of the stipulation read "Defendant agrees that above amount is due the plaintiff".

I'd LOVE to sure these people for this amount which not even what I owed but paid out of fear. The SOL is 3 days away and two attorneys said if I were gonna do something I had to do it at the time the CA filed suit. Somthine about Civil Procedures and "Case in Controversy" or something like that where you have to bring all claims at the time of suit.

So I think I'm screwed. It was a learning experience and I'll never be fool by another collector. The debt was way past the SOL.
