I have a summons to appear in court in 2 days and I've done all that I should-sent 'Answer' and 'Notice to Appear'to both attorney & courthouse with signed receipts that show they made it to both destinations.
Now I'm just hoping that the SOL defense that I cited on the 'Answer' will result in no one showing up but me.
Has anyone experienced the trauma of waiting in a hallway with strangers so you can be called into a room and accused of being a loser for not paying bills. This is what I'm imagining.
What would the verbal exchange consist of the first 5 minutes? I have a tendency to talk alot (and cry) so I'm nervous that I'll do both.
It would be sweet revenge for an attorney to know I'm agonizing over this moment when they dont even show up.
I guess I could relax and assume they wont be there and just deal with them being there at the moment I realize they are there.
See, I do talk alot.
