No you did nothing wrong. You may want to contact the Post office of the receiving address and ask them why your green card wasn't at least dated (carriers responsiblity). They also scan each certified letter (or are suppose to) so they should be able to tell you the date it was delivered..Here's a tip on the green cards you send.. take a yellow highlight pen and highlite- Sinature-Printed name-and date delivered..This will help remind the carrier.
