I was served with a pretrail summons. I went to the first mediation on October 1st. The attorney suing me didn't show but left a number for the judge to call. His number didn't allow collect calls so the judge set a trail date for November 1st. Then I receive a letter from the lawyer stating nobody at his office denied the call. The judge set up another mediation for the 29th of October and if it's not settled then we still go to court on the 1st. I just found out that I can use the SOL in my defense. I had asked two attorneys before the first mediation and they couldn't answer my question without doing research. This forum has been a great help to me. I just found it yesterday and I'm so glad I did.
