This debt is very recently defaulted. I imagine the lawsuit is for real. If you have money in the bank, take it out. Stop all direct deposits.
No validation is required prior to suing you -
they bring their "validation" proof to court. If it is the original creditor (it probably is), the FDCPA does not apply in the same sense that it applies to collection agencies.

Get reay to talk to them. Don't wear your jewelry to court. ;)
