FICO scoring doesn't take into account whether a judgment or collection/charge-off account is paid.

The mere fact that it happened is the issue.

Example:

If you pay the judgment, it will still be reported on your report. If it is recent, it will play a major factor in scoring. The older it gets, the less impact it will have.

The same thing with the collection/charge-off accounts; whether paid or not, it happened. The older the entries get, the less impact they will have.

The only thing that would "raise your score quicker" would be if you could have the accounts removed completely.
