California specific questions

I have two questions, hopefully somebody here will know a little more than I could find:

1. A few days ago I saw mention that in California, unsigned credit cards have a two year SOL. Is this true, and if so, can someone provide a link to the appropriate statute?

2. I've seen various references to the fact that California's version of the FCRA/FCDAs applies to the original creditors as well as the CAs. Does this mean
I can request validation here as well? A link to the statute would be helpful here too.

Thanks again for all your help - my credit has been steadily improving since I found this site.
