what's the worst thing that can happen to me if I am sued by the credit card company for non-payment? I got laid off beginning for this year and also used cc for food & housing and cash advance to make payment. now every of my cc is near the limit. What will happen if they sue me and they win? I have no job, no asset (except car worths $5000) and live in California. Total 10 cc debt is over $250K. Will I go to jail because of such a big amount?
