CAMCO - Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I recently received a letter from CAMCO stating that a Union Bank account (Orig $1950 at last date of activity on 08/1993) which was formerly held by Capital One has been purchased from Camco and that I now owe them $4,092.07! I also recevied my first call in 6 years from their collections department (I hung up once at introduction.) Is the following letter the right first step? via fax to 815-895-1841 Dan Kay
