Bear in mind that the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), which is FEDERAL law, defines credit cards as OPEN ACCOUNTS. Any lawyer or CA that says otherwise is full of it and needs to be EDUCATED on the LAW! Many "SOL" cases could be won if debtors would just show up for their court date, present the TILA regulations as evidence to disprove the erroneous belief held by many attorneys that CCs are written contracts, and use any records that they may have in order to prove SOL. The judge would have to dismiss the case right then.
