well sandy honestly im not sure exactly what type of contract this is but if its less than 3 years old its still within SOL of both states for them to sue you & if your currently living in iowa thats most likely where a suit would take place .. personally i cant see them sueing you for a louzy 219. bucks but crazier things have happened so never know .. im not gonna tell you what you should do but i'll tell ya what i'd do if this were me , since your ONLY talking about a 219. dollar debt id call their attorney & try to settle this like maybe by offering them 100. than working your way up from there & maybe stopping at 150. cause my bet is they'd settle vs going into court .. if this were lots of money id NEVER SUGGEST talking to ANY collector/attorney but i mean its so little & too me piece of mind is worth 219 dollars .. good luck , kelly ....
