It means they can take whatever funds are in the account to satisfy the debt. They would most certainly take every penny they can get their hands on.

You would most likely be sent 'discovery' paperwork, in which they ask you for bank account numbers, etc, and you MUST answer them. That's where they get the account info. There are other ways.. if you ever paid the account with a check, they can get it that way.

If they go the discovery route, you'll know. If a judgment is entered that allows them to garnish, you'll know for sure, it would hardly be a surprise.
