I need some help, i had a gateway card i opened in 12/00 for my PC. account was sold to Comp Finance sometime last year and i never got statments and couldnt reach them, so i was really late, i dont deny that. i recently got a credit report i was 90 days late last fall, my report states i was 90 days late 8 different times, i disputed with credit reporting agencys and trans union will not remove it. So i tried better business bureau, and comp finances response was that since i was late 90 days once, every month after that is considered another 90 day occurence!! is this legal?? please help i am trying to get a mortgage gor my first home, and this is killing my FICO score... email me with any suggestions thanks...
