I would suggest you contact Helig-Meyers and really ream someone out about doing their job. Remind them they have an obligation to report accurate information. I'd then do the same to Equifax asking why they won't accept a letter from the OC that the reporting is incorrect? I'd do in writing sent CRRR and then, get ready to file a small claims action for FCRA violations if they both don't get it fixed.
