Everyone who knows about this will send in their disputes certified to the 3 CRAs somewhere about that time. why you ask? there are a couple of reason. First off the CRAs have 30 days to investigate or they must delete. Sending around the 23rd gets it to them around the 25th or so which means in that 30 day period there is thanksgiving AND christmas. Alot of the employees for the CRAs and the creditors or CAs who must check off on the account take their vacation time in this month. The CRAs are already 2 weeks behind and with a limited staff on both fronts they often cannot get to the disputes. Also, thousands of us will be sending in our disputes on that day so they will be even more swamped. Of course they will get to some disputes but your best time for deletion is this one period so even if the debt is legit send a dispute with not mine or listed incorrectly or reaged and cross your fingers.
