Hi why chat and all
Its been awhile since I posted,so why chat you will have to refreash your memory on my problem. Husband being sued by attorny for Capital one,Im not authorised user. Husband recieved letter from municipal court about judgement being brought,husband wrote an answer letter(actually I wrote it he doesnt handle things like that well) and filed it through municipal court like it said. The letter was a settlement agreement from us to the attorney. Sent it certified letter to attorney. Recieved green card today where letter was signed for. Also recieved a letter from municipal court today which stated a date it would go to court for pretrial. I thought the lawyer did that,but to my surprise when I called the court they said no I did when I filed the answer letter. Guess its better than just doing nothing and letting them win judgement. Ok heres my question,whats next? When the lawyer recieves his letter to appear at pretrial can he send a letter stating he accepts the offer from my husband and that will stop court pretrial,or is there no way to stop from going to court now? Also he wants 22.40 percent per annum on the account amount,can I mark on the paper that will be given to the attorney the day of pretrial that I disagree with paying the interest? In my answer letter I only said the amount husband owed,nothing about paying the interest. Ok,sorry this is long,oh by the way why chat,put house in my name only after last payment(we talked about this before in other posts. Thanks for help. Live in ohio!
