I asked you to look at your Experian report. On THAT report it should show when the account will be removed. You count back 7 years and one month from THAT date to get your starting date for Cal. SOL. The date of last activity on your report can be when they charged it off, or when they sold it to a collection agency. Or if it IS a collection agency reporting, it can mean the last time they sent you a letter!!

Most likely, if your date of last activity on your report is from your original creditor , it is the charge off date. Your actual SOL start date should be 2 months prior to that date.

If your Experian report says the "removal date" is April 2005, then your SOL start date would be March 1998.

Go to my website, use the SOL letter with THAT date & the Cal. statutes if you have NOT been served.

If you HAVE been served, scroll down on the site and go to "How To Answer A Lawsuit".
