Girlfriend has a judgement with her dead husband...

My girlfriend is a widow who has a judgement against her and the husband (dead)..never has been paid nor has been sued over it yet...I believe its over the SOL and coming up to 7 years...We are in Texas...If I marry her will this judgement stay and could it effect me also ?? She also has not probated his will yet either (he died in '99) this is another problem later...Any comments on this ??
