The person who gave me the lease told me that I
cannot cancel the lease for 4 years. I called him
directly, and he told me that it is now between the
leasing company and myself. Leasing company is CIT
and MSI.
The leasing company faxed me a contract that has a
different invoice number from the one I signed. It also
has a different acceptance rate for Mastercard than my
otherwise blank contract. Fields that are hand writtent
"N/A" on my form's copy are blank and are applicable
for fees on the one the rep. turned into the main
company. I did not date the contracts, and the rep
dated them sometime after I signed them, even though
the date is next to my signature.
Is there any law to protect me against this kind of
contract? Thanks.
