When a Responsible Party for a credit card has put you on that card as an Authorized User (without your knowledge) and then does not pay the bill, resulting in a negative report on the Authorized User's credit report, what actions are necessary to get that negative report removed from the credit report? The credit card company is NOT willing to remove the Authorized User until they can give a ridiculous amount of information regarding the Responsible Party's date of birth, current zip code, date of birth, etc., which at this time is not known. Can you also give me the source (law) that deals with credit card Authorized Users? Thanks.
