Redman - trust me THERE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT 100 % POSITIVE a 4 yr SOL on credit card debts both here in nevada AND florida .. i too was concerned so i too like you called my AG'S office up in lasvegas last summer AND like you i too was told no mamm , these debts can be collected against you at anytime and FOREVER EXCEPT if i filed for bankruptcy , i was SHOCKED .. well i though no f'en way cause i just read the nevada statue off the net claiming its 4 years so whats the ag's office talking about ?!?! well after that i again called back asked the same person again & them telling me the same as before but i said hang on here & i than read the statue about NEVADA LAW , she seemed stunned and said hold on a minute please , im like ok lol .. well after maybe 4 call transfers they FINALLY told me YES , we ( nevada ) have a 4 yr SOL for defaulted credit card debts being collected on & in our state that date begins not with when the loan was 1st defaulted but when i made the LAST charge on the card by ME , not their late fees & interest nonsense , that does count towards SOL .. bottom line , sad to say but ALOT of so called experts are lost reguarding credit laws & states SOL's so bring a copy of your states statue saying that florida's SOL on cards is 4 yrs & also a copy of thr FEDREAL tila defining ALL credit cards as open accounts and MOST importantly YOUR proof of your SOL meaning the debts uncollectable becouse its past florida's SOL for collection .. with all that in hand trust kelly baby , YOU WIN !! JUST MY LIL OLE OPINION HERE so GOOD LUCK !! kelly .....
