I apologize if my posts are upsetting to you (as they seem to be). My broker feels there is a VERY good chance that my scores will go up if I pay four or five of my unpaid debts. He obviously can't guarantee it, and yes he does have a vested interest. He is going to try a rapid re-score to get the results ASAP. I also have a vested interest, and at this point am simply wanting to determine if there is ANY, and I will repeat to you, ANY benefit in paying off some debts I owe. Your first option seems plausible. I will dispute some and hope the rapid re-scoring will expedite the return condition (as it is supposed to do). Your second option is the one I have no control over. I DO NOT own a credit card, and the ONLY debt I have are the charge-offs on my credit report. Thanks anyway.
