A Question about CRA's

I received a letter from a letter recently from CA for a credit card that was charged off in 4/93. The SOL has run out for this ACCT. It was on my CR for 7 years but isn't there anymore. I know FCRA 605 states after 7 years it off my CR. My question is: Do the CRA's have any safeguards built into there systems to stop unscrupulous CA's from putting these old ACCT's back in there system's? Our esteemed friends from CAMCO bought this "Turkey" back in 3/01 and he recently turned over to another esteemed colleague Bryan Paxton of PayPax Accounts Inc.
