*gunk* Why Chat I think I f^cked up. You just scared me about this "settle" emhpasis. I just "settled" recently with an old Capital One account. The CA settled for 40% of the balance, after the payment was recieved I received a note saying the account basically saying this account is now settled. You mean to tell me they can sell it again and try to collect more ? That sound illegal. Settled doesn't mean settled ? This has to fall under the FDCPA for misleading information and a whole slew of other charges. Please inform.
