In September, I asked what to do about a CA who was writing me re a "sign & deposit this instant loan" thing from 1997. I was told to send them a letter stating I felt I was a victim of Identity Fraud and requesting validation. I did that on Sept 23. I got my green card back postmarked Sept 25, 2002. So far, I've received nothing. However, today, I get a message on my phone asking me to call Mary @ 866-555-1212 concerning a letter "I wrote her" and gave my SS# as reference. Do you 'think' it's them and should I return the call? I never wrote anything to Mary, so I'm suspicious.
