trust me , i know it can be scarey becouse i had or should say have just 1 chargeoff in total thats over 4 years old thats now with all their nutty ripoff interest & fees around 18000. so yeah they'll drive ya nutts IF YOU ALLOW THEM TO but thats your decision if you wanna put up with all their huffing & puffing cause quite honestly its a waste of their breath IF you know your rights under BOTH state & federal law .. 1st off ALOT depends on what state you live in so kinda give us that info cause even though were all in the usa its amazing how many different laws each state has towards consumer protection some excellant some stink lol .. now im not gonna tell you what you should do but i'll sure tell ya what i'd do ok .. 1st off DO NOT TALK TO THOSE LOSERS ON THE PHONE PERIOD , YOU TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR PHONE , you control your phone dont let your phone control you .. get caller ID & avoid ALL their calls PERIOD no exceptions EVER .. im feeling your still within your states SOL so ONLY SINCE thats the case let them continue sending you all threatening their junk mail thru the mail cause really thats all it is & quite honestly know what , i use to rip it up into like little ya know those kinda like post it notes & kept them near my phone for like ya know real messages from friends or like maybe even the shopping list you'd be surprised it really comes in handy lol , hey saves a buck or 2 so let them continue sending ya out that nonsence it'll save ya money lol .. now IF you have no assets ( again depends on the state your living in now ) do nothing until YOUR ready to file bankruptcy thats even IF YOU'LL need to file becouse you may not even need to file .. just stay calm cause i with all my heart mean this , those collectors ARE NOTHING , its the kinda job that has a huge turnover & is commission based but its kinda like a bottom of the barrel type job & those collectors are mostly lonely people with few friends if any except for other collectors & i mean that so seriously dont worry but hey just my opinion .... so let us know a bit more info such as what i asked & it'll be fine :) ......... bye . kel .......
