My philosophy is the less they know the better. Once they get you on the phone, it opens a whole Pandora's box of questions that they can ask you. If I were you, I'd call her directly and advise her that your attorney advised you that all correspondence should be through the "mail only" so that it can be documented. Tell her that if she wishes to discuss the account in question, she should address her questions in a mailed letter. Don't let her take the conversation in any other direction and don't answer any questions! Also make it very clear to her that you still expect her/them to comply with the original written request, end of discussion. They are already in non-compliance, but I wouldn't let them know that.

In the future, state in every letter you send that you demand that all corrspondence be conducted through the mail only, and under no circumstances are they to call you at work or home. If they do harass you, simply change your phone number to an unlisted one.
