Both our careers were shortened a mite by a thing called OFFICE POLITICS, and though we seldom ever spoke [boy is THAT statement so understated as almost to be a lie! care to comment Bob? Or will you be as gunshy of real names everywhere this chase leads as you are back THERE???? hope not.] until recently in another forum we knew each other's names well enough by the time I was kicked out in 1991.

When I heard from someone else about a month and a half ago that every body 50 years and older had to leave editorial, well, having a kinder opinion of Bob than he had of me, I figured he was probably as bored as I was with ho-hum living and might at least keep me posted on some other stuff he might be following in the news.

When I received a terrorist threat in my email that I was pretty sure had to have come from him or someone else I wanted to hear from, hey, things got lively real fast. Guess my old boss Norm Chandler, who died earlier this year, and a former Times Publisher made me out to be too much of a miracle worker type, next thing I know half a dozen people are askin me offensive questions of all kinds, a certain clue that I am back in newspaperman's heaven fer sure.

THIS kind of post is EXACTLY the kind of things we need hard data and STATISTICS for to get the first salvo off asap, say maybe when I file two or tree or 5 lawsuits against CAMCO and their evil allies and one small class action, maybe, on behalf of a bunch of folks who have lost a lawsuit in Ohio that should NEVER HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED IN COURT being well-past 2x over SOL in many cases as these lawsuits were. [THANKS orange dog!]

Then be patient and wait.

NOTHING happens overnight, we are going to need to set up office space with lotsa FILE cabinets just to hold the floppy disks and backup disks, and I expect that getting together will become something of an adventure as time goes by.

But I don't think we will be the ONLY ONES too long.

With Kelly to help me recruit VICTIMS with balls and brains and Bob to help recruit REPORTERS with balls and brains, and me to keep recruiting independent operators like myself, we will, as kelly rants towards the top of this thread, have us one helluva STORY to tell before too awfully long, and that is a FACT.

So far I have only busted one trespasser for loitering. Cops said we needed a no-tresspassng sign, naturally my landlord agreed to THAT to keep avid fans and groupies alike off my front lawn. That is a really sorry showing for you guys. Ah well, I ain't the babe I once was, but there's more than a frew dances in this ol' dame, yet.

ALL are welcome to this party. Especially "a bill collector," he might be a real asset on the TEAM that is forming up.
