The people that come here do so for help. They do not have the answers. I did not mean to say one size fit all. But I will say one size fits almost all. And I mean that most people that look to this sight for help are not equipt to try a case in court. There looking for answers. And telling people to go file in Small Claims action is something that can hurt as many as it helps. That is how I feel,I think If you have a cause of action, you should get an attorney. You better than most, know these consumer cases are no walk in the park even for an attorney. you are correct, that for the individual that wants to file, get the home work done. But Lynda I say no, don't agree. and I also say no , I'm not a collector. I repair cars. But I did go to a Oregon small claims court 30 years ago and had to have the case filed in another court by an attorney because the defendent wanted an attorney.
