I recently received a collections letter from Midland Credit Management for $1,200 to Chase Bank. Funny thing is I never had a credit card from them. When I called for some information, he said the account was opened in 1998 and had my name and address right but the wrong ss#, when I expressed this to the CA he began to tell me how I live in NY and everyone there changes their ss# and that I am on watch...Amazing! After that i decided to say nothing more so I hung up. I am going to take your advice and send a validation letter. Would you know anything about this CA and is there anything else I can do to get this resolved. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.
