WRONG !

Small claims is THE place for consumer action !!!

In many states, lawyers are NOT allowed in small claims court. In MOST states, a lawyer will not TAKE a case that can be taken to small claims court as the return for the attorney is far too small for it to be worth their time. Not to mention the fact that attorney's fees would, in most cases, make it ridiculous to hire a lawyer for a small claims-type case.

For people in those states where lawyers ARE alloed in small claims court, then we advise them to find out if this is the case and then they would hopefully go retain one !!
