I work for a Dr and we use a CA to collect on accounts. This same CA has an account of mine. I am making payments but the interest is going up $100 a month and that is what I'm paying. So my account will never be paid off at this rate. These are for medical bills that were covered by the state and the hospital did not bill the state. You only have a year after the date of service to bill the state and they waited almost 2 years to notify me that they had not recieved the insurance information. I have no way to prove that I gave them the information. Is there anything I can do on this and how can I get them t stop accumulating interest. We already took all of our accounts away from them becasue we were afraid that they were treating our patients the way they are treating me.
