Disputing Lien as "Paid" or "Resolved"

In March of 2002, the Los Angeles County Treasurer recorded a lien in the amount of $81 for property taxes on a veseel. As soon as I became aware of the lien in July, when it showed up on my credit report, I paid the LA County Treasurer. Have the cancelled check and everything.

Since it was showing as unpaid or unresolved, I disputed with all three CRAs that it was in fact paid - including a copy of my cancelled check. All three verified.

I called the Treasurer who referred me to the County Clerk and Registrar Recorder's office, who said that they do not provide the CRAs with information - the CRAs retrieve it themselves.

My question then is, how do I proceed to get this marked as paid?

Thanks for your help.
