For benefit of those victims of CAMCO:
I got a call from these sewer rats to collect on a ten year old debt. It was followed by a typical CAMCO letter as found repeatedly on this board.
All this took place right after I applied for a home loan and the home loan inquiry posted to my credit report (ficos of 760 to 800). I sent a validation letter to CAMCO and after 6 weeks have not had any response. My home loan has been approved and is now final. I was sweating this for weeks. Just posting this to share what is proof that these CAMCO tards are truly wolves hiding in the shadows ready to pounce on the UN-KNOWING at the worst possible time. Thanks so much to those of you who operate this board and give people like me much needed information at the time it is needed most. -eDat
